Beowulf and random thoughts.

I went to see Beowulf last night. I must say going in I had heard so many mixed reviews I was a might worried that it would be cheesy, I’d find the animation to be overdone. I just wasn’t sure. There were definitely points throughout the movie that you could tell where all the money in the special effects budget went. But all in all, I really enjoyed it. It was a visual stunner. I had read that in some Theatres it was being presented in the *new* 3D with the grayish glasses and that it was quite impressive that way as well. Knowing that, I could see the points that may have been exploited a little because it was going to be in 3D, example of Axes flying through the air towards the audience and such.
So I’d give it a 8.5 out of 10.
Think I am catching a hockey game tomorrow night. Suddenly a renewed interest in checking out the *Swamp Donkeys* as Chris would say. Should be a good time.
Life, for all it’s obstacles is good.
