Well it is now 2009. Lots happened in 2008. Most of it is a blur in a way. We started the year off on Orange St, playing Rockband and drinking. It was a nice New Years, we went out to February, where Greg and I celebrated our Birthdays and Robert Henderson was born. I also said goodbye to someone very important to me in February. Live is strange without them, but in the end maybe it was for the best. What a way to start off the year! I worked with Rev Can until April when my contract ended and then after alot of deliberation I decided to move. It hasn’t been without it’s problems that is for certain, but overall was a good choice at the time. Now I just can’t wait to move again, however I’m saving for some new furniture first. Shouldn’t take too long at all.

So after moving I started the job hunt, and found a pretty amazing job which I love. It comes with it’s stresses, but it is really great being on the ground floor of a growing company, even if financial times are a bit sketchy right now, I think we will survive. We celebrated Jenn and Anthony’s big day with them towards the end of the summer, and I think a great time was had by all. Fall was here before we knew it, and man how the year had flown by. It was finally time to go see the Bruins in Moncton! No Tim Thomas, but it was good just the same. Halloween we celebrated with a Murder Mystery party, and had some old friends from Fredericton join us, as well as Jared and Vicki. The costumes were great, as was the company. Then on the actual night of Halloween we took the kids (Marilyn and Robert) trick or treating. I think it is going to be even more fun next year. Then before we knew it… Christmas, and New Years. Both flew by. I found out that one of my closer friends is my cousin! That was a real holiday treat. I’ll admit I was pretty jazzed to find out I am ousins with Tara and my favourite little man!
I’ve had better New Years celebrations, but it was nice to be with friends. Which brings me up to today, where I of course am reflecting. 75 sleeps until Toronto! I have 75 days to lose a pant size. Personal goal I set for myself. I think I can do it!

I’m back on the weight loss train, I didn’t gain since I’ve stopped which makes me happy, but now it’s time to find that thinner me that’s been slumbering for awhile. It’s time to make some choices no matter how difficult. It’s time to get living, laughing and loving.

Here I come 2009. The year of many changes.
