It’s Wednesday…

I slept through my clock, but managed to wake before I HAD to be out of bed. So that’s not so bad. Going shopping tonight. Looking forward to that.

Hectic work week.

Keep wanting to send an email to someone to get some stuff off my chest. I haven’t yet. Maybe it’s best. Either way… I don’t understand why someone would avoid me if they think they did nothing wrong… life is so strange. Actually it’s people that make it strange.

28 sleeps.

Ok so the mild temps are a little crazy aren’t they? What’s up with that. It’s just a tease really. We all know that in a week we’ll get more snow… and winter will be forever leaving AGAIN. It feels like this every winter though doesn’t it?

My cat is hilariously cute tonight conked out here beside me on the bed, half sprawled over my Angel: After the Fall comics I’ve been reading. His birthday was the other day –> Harry, not angel. He was 4!! Where does the time go?

I remember when he was sleeping on top of my old monitor and chasing my FFOnline Character across the screen when we played. I often debate the idea of another kitty once I move, but we’ll see. I think Harry Monster would like the company now that he has become quite the social butterfly.

I did my taxes the other day. I am going to put every cent on my car. I had debated putting it towards something else, but if I put it on my car that means my car will be paid off by the end of summer opposed to the end of December! So that is something to be a bit excited about. I will be using some of it for the trip, but hoping not too much….yeah you watch, my intentions will be shot the minute I step into Fluevog.

I miss living on Princess St.

I miss Hil and Chris living upstairs.

I miss Jonn, Pam, Jared and Vicki living next door.

I miss being able to walk everywhere if I wanted to.

I miss the parties.

I miss 2004.

But I’m in 2009 and I’m happy. :D

This morning I woke up and I really wanted to write a blog about a personal matter. Something that has been eating away at me for a long time, but I realize that ranting about it here will be of no good use. The only thing it might do is flare up some tempers and piss some people off. So if I still feel like this tomorrow maybe I’ll decide to talk to the person, but again I might not because it wouldn’t be the first time I tried to “intervene”.

I’ve been sick for quite a few days with this horrible chest demon. It won’t leave. I was home sick from work which pained me because I know what is waiting for me when I get back…chaos. It managed to be calm for the past two days which means all hell is due to break loose when I get back to the office. Here is hoping I am wrong.

Carter left this morning. He will be in BC for a week or orientation then he’s off to Japan for a year. I am really going to miss him. I am just thankful for emails so we can keep in touch. I can’t wait to read his blog www.carterinjapan.com to hear all about his adventures. Yeah that was a shameless plug for his blog. ;-)

35 sleeps until the trip, filed my taxes, so happy pay day is on Friday…

That about wraps it up for me for the moment…

So I survived he birthday party last night. The day started off yesterday with some shovelling of snow. Which was awesome exercise. Actually, I’ll back track to Friday. I went to WW on Friday morning and had yet another loss! YAY! I’m very happy. It’s a good loss too. Not too big, not too small. I went to work and at lunch my Co-Workers have me a small cake. I smiled and cut a small piece and enjoyed it. I brought the rest to my Nan for her to enjoy. So Friday night we all went to Army Of Darkness. It was a midnight movie at Empire 10. It was pretty much sold out. It was a good time.

So yeah, Saturday. Shovelling. Then Mom brought me in town. Tara and I started cooking. We made some good eats too. I think my favs were the Jalapenos I made and the dip Tara made.

They got me a cake, with Edward Cullen on it. LOL Chris edited the photo so it said “Hope your birthday doesn’t suck, Love Edward”. Thought it was pretty funny. I also got a bear from Tara with a Tshirt that says “Real Vampires don’t sparkle” *giggles* You would think I’m obsessed or something. Barry got me some comics from my folder at the store and Chris got me Dr Horrible on DVD! I didn’t expect prezzies so it was a nice treat. Thank you!

So…we drank our faces off…many many shots. I wasn’t feeling any pain, and honestly I think everyone there was pretty ripped. It was awesome. Speaking of ripped, Tara and I owe Carter a wife beater…. Sorry… We were just mesmerized by your hotness!

Many stories I could tell, but you know what? I just can’t do them justice. Just thanks to everyone for coming out and making this a very awesome birthday! But man does my body ever feel 31 today…

I also got prezzies from family today. Mom and Dad got me an Griffin iTrip for my car. So now I can use my iPod in the car. Nan got me a car charger for my cell phone, which was much needed.  All these gadgets!

So now I am gonna go have my Bday supper, and enjoy Lasagna, Garlic Bread and a piece of chocolate Birthday cake. :)

So much has changed in the past few years. I’m eager to see where this year takes me.
